Sierra Vista Unified School District’s second annual employee volleyball league has recently kicked off their new season!

Various schools across the district create their own teams within their school, and compete against other schools in the district. The team is meant to be non-competitive while maintaining the fun of competition. The SVUSD league requires no experience to join, and is open to any staff member in the district. Buena’s team began their practices on August 23 after school, and continued to practice August 30. While the team is only for Buena staff members, anyone is able to attend games. Games will take place once a week, occasionally here at Buena, and sometimes at Joyce Clark Middle School during the evening. The games are expected to continue for about seven weeks, with the first one starting after Labor Day. Here’s to hoping for an excellent season for Buena’s staff!
